My connection

...

In my collection

I have around forty pieces, including dinner plates for six, extra salad plates, cups and saucers, and a creamer. It's a partial service that I can use on its own for a small gathering or combine with other pieces.

About the pattern

Lyana pairs Eva Zeisel's sculptural Museum shapes for Castleton with a leaf decoration by Philip R. Costigan. Zeisel developed the Museum service in collaboration with Castleton and the Museum of Modern Art during the 1940s. Originally undecorated, the forms later carried several Castleton patterns, including Lyana, whose black and gold leaves seem to float across the ivory porcelain.
